Verizon Wireless today launched its new prepaid plans that include unlimited talk, unlimited text, and a capped data package of either 500MB or 2GB of 3G data. The prepaid plan with 500MB of data costs $60 per month and the 2GB plan costs $70 per month.
Verizon’s standard Share Everything Plans are actually a better value because they offer the same unlimited talk and text options, but with 2GB and 4GB data packages with 4G LTE speeds for the same price as the prepaid options. The benefit of a prepaid plan is that it does not require a contract, so users are free to suspend service at any time without having to pay an early termination fee.
The Samsung Illusion, Blackberry Curve and HTC DROID are a part of the choices of phones that can be commutual with prepaid service for new customers. Verizon will accept older unused phones that are compatible with its network, too.
